Bethesda House and October: Domestic Violence Awareness Month

October - a month to be shared by many passionate folks. In October, awareness is raised for Breast Cancer, Lupus, Down Syndrome, Rett Syndrome, SIDS, and even Orthodontic Health, to name a few. Bethesda House is part of a community which supports a wide range of its citizens' needs. May we remember, too, that October is also Domestic Violence Awareness Month? In the coming weeks we will be posting more often and with some specific goals in mind: increasing knowledge and understanding of domestic violence, empowering others to make a difference so that victims can become survivors, and remembering those who did not get know what it was to have victory over their circumstances in this life.
